My 7yr old swcah is now going into the 2nd grade. I send gatorade to the nurse for him all school year round. He takes his afternoon dose at school. She also gives him water & juice or milk. He gets to go to the nurse frequently. They have to bring a snack to school everyday. They ususally eat it in the am before lunch. That helps out alot. He startedwith preschool and then all day kindergarten and has been fine every since.  The school principal, nurse and teachers are great.
