Hi Tina,

We were told that Solu-Cortef was too hard to come by so our daughter’s ped endo told us to get injectable dexamethasone instead.  We get 5 vials for about $12 or so.  The nice thing about them versus solu-cortef is that they are already mixed up so no separate powder and water in the same bottle.  We have never had to use it on her so I don’t know if it will perk her up as quickly as the solu-cortef.  Hope this helps.
