The doctors telling you that solu-cortef is not available are misinformed. We were told the same thing. I knew from this board that it was not true.  Our solu-cortef was about to expire (07/04).  About 4 weeks ago I got 5 brand new vials of solu-cortef (exp 03/09) for $10 (with insurance) at a local Brooks pharmacy.  I spoke with the pharmacist before having the rx called in to make sure it was available.  I even had him double check and made sure we were talking about the same drug.   He had to order it from the central location. It took about 2 days because of the holiday (July 4th ). There was no problem.
