I am in Alexandria Virginia.  I have Kaiser (an HMO) with a max pay of $5 for meds but they always list an RX value on the receipts.  Solucortef viles they have listed as $6.  Florinef it lists the RX value for 90 tablets as $72  and 90 tablets of cortef is listed at $21. 

We haven’t had any trouble getting the viles, however, when our daughter has had two crises that we ended up in urgent care with IVs, they used solumedrol in the drip because the doctors have said it works the same in this instance and is more easily available.
