WE have a 3 ring binder with tabs. The first section is all necessary phone numbers, prescriptions and times of doses, and I go through all possible circumstances and what to do for each (ex: Lethargy: Unable to waken, weak, shaking, pale, unable to focus eyes, abdominal pain etc. Step1: Give IM shot of solucortef 50mg. (See how to give a shot instructions). Step 2 Call 911. Step 3 Call parents. The next section of the binder is consent forms for medical treatment. We have them written out and signed. We just leave the place blank for the provider to fill in his/her name. The next section is a letter from our endo briefly describing CAH and what to do under certain cercumstances. There is also a pamphlet on CAH for John Hopkins. The next section is "How to give a shot" printed from the internet. Next is Emergency Room personnel information which includes brief to the point information on Adrenal crisis and what to do for it. Anyway, this binder helps give me peace of mind when we leave our daughter with someone else. Hope it helps, JuliaJulia S
