Hi Jenny:

I think that is a normal reaction for any child.  My 4 year old SWCAH has recently started stating that he needs to throw up.  He was terribly ill about 6 months ago and got all kinds of attention while we nursed him back to health.  Now when he says he is "sick" and I question it, I will say that if he is sick then he better lie down and not play with his toys.  Miraculously he gets better in seconds and is "cured".  My 2 1/2 non CAH daughter has started in as well.  I think that they are just looking for attention.  I notice that they do it when I am especially busy with work, etc.  I try and stop what I am doing and give them the extra loving they are craving for the moment.
