My 4 year old also wants to eat all the time. She too, is solid but thin at 40 pounds, at 3’5". We make sure to have a snack bag with healthy choices in it. I believe she has high metabolisim as she needed to be doses Cortef 4 times a day and we may be going to 5 times a day. Super active kid. I share your concerns. We gently talk about food because I think she eats when she is bored and this is not a good habit to start. Sometimes in the car she’ll want food just after breakfast (which she probably didn’t eat enough of) I’ll remind her that she should have eaten more at breakfast and that it’s not quite snack time yet. Then I find something to occupy her a toy or game. But she has thrown huge tantrums before yelling "I’m STARVING!" Which of course she is not. Anyway, good luck! Julia
