We have 2 ssw cah girls.  When our 8 year old is sick our 6 year old is suddenly "not feeling well".  She has made up several ailments if she feel she is not getting enough attention.  This year at school (she was a kindergartener) she discovered she had "her own nurse".  We struggled with this through the entire year!  I had to sit down with the teacher who was terrified she would make a fatal mistake and tell her unless Elle was puking or running a fever- don’t send her to the nurse.  My 8 year old would rather die than tell us she is sick.  My 6 year old wants to be sick with attention all the time.  We are finding the balance. Look for the signs you know you are supposed to look for and follow your gut.  You’ll do ok!  :)
