Hello All ...... My problem is just the opposite I can’t get my 3 (four in Dec.) year old Granddaughter to eat hardly anything. I have even gone to the extreme of feeding her.(STILL) she does drink a LOT of milk/not much water and very little juice. I am hoping this will get better. But, what I am surprised about in these posts is how much your children are monitored when it comes to food. Is this something all CAH parents need to do ? Yes, I want my child to eat hea;thy , but I want her to be a child also. I can’t imagine telling her she can’t get something out of the fridge if she is hungry or wants a snack. Is this done to keep weight off the children? Does this mean they never get pizza / ice cream cones/ candy coated snacks? I am not talking every day .....but, they are KIDS! Maybe I need to learn more on the nutrition end of CAH, but I want my child to be able to make the choice of how and what she needs to eat for herself when SHE needs too! I would think if a child is getting up at night to eat THEY ARE HUNGRY! Or possibly a blood sugar  thing and there blood sugar dropped.  I would feel horrible if I denied my child a snack and it was needed ! Just my input ! Is this normal for CAH?
