hi guys

i know that a lot of you use circadian dosing, i just have some question and hope that you can give advise.

my husband is currently taking 15 mg of cortef a day 10mg am and 5mg at lunch.  his numbers came back high (17-ohp, and androstenedione) testosterone was a little low(so the dr. said)  anyway we aren’t as worried about the high number as the dr. will, we are not having anymore kids, so we aren’t worried about fertility.  but my husband would like to get down to as low as dose possible, because he has such bad osteoprosis for his sex and age. (years of overtreatment) the dr. said that he might need a dose in the evening to help with the early morning surge.  does a night time dose work that much? 

we were think that maybe if we used circadian dosing that we could keep his dose low.  but what is the best schedule?  he gets up at 445am and goes to bed about 10pm.  so should he keep using cortef and do 3 times a day or 4times.  i know that i have seen that some use dex, do you use it in combination with the cortef or alone.  i would like to hear stories of how well circadian dosing is working for others.
