Oh, as for how did we get the endo to give us the shot, I basically told my husband that I wasn’t leaving without it. I stated that we often hike and are 4 hours from our car and then another 1/2 hour to the hospital and that is too long if she goes into a crisis or breaks a bone. I asked him if he wanted her death on his hands. I printed out the how to give a shot instructions and stated we were quite capaple of giving the shot and that we would never abuse it. I asked if a nurse could walk us through how to give it and that I would practice on an orange. I told him that there are many children with diabetes who can give the shot and I’m sure I could do it too. Good luck, Julia
