what I would do is call your pharmacy & see if they have the solu-cortef or if they can get it.  Then once you have the confirmation that you can get it no problem call your Endo & tell him you found a pharmacy that has the solu-cortef & therefore the shortage issue is gone and that this is something that you feel very strongly about having & don’t feel that your request unrealistic.  Basicly state as nice as possible, since you will have to deal with him for a long time, that you are not going to bend on this issue & bring up how she will be staying with grandparents & you would feel better knowing that she has the shot.
