Like many of you, I found out about the solu-cortef from this site. Actually I found out pretty mich everything I know about CAH from this site. I have a 6 month old salt wasting son. I asked our pediatrician about the shot at our last visit (our endo is 4 hours away, so the 2 doctors ’share’ Logan. We visit the ped every week for blood work, he relays the results to the endo and then calls us to ket us know what’s up). anyway, I wasd told that we’re not going to get into any of that right now. We live 5 minutes from the hospital and were told to just bring Logan in if there was fever or if he was just ’off’.  I accepted this - at least it prevents me having to give a shot, but a few of you have made an excellent point - what if we’re not home??? We’re planning to go to my parents cottage in a couple of weeks where we’ll be at least two hours from a hospital... I guess I better talk to the ped again...???
