You responded to my question about dex before and now I have a new question.  Is your daughter a salt-waster?  Someone told me dex isn’t as effective for salt-wasters?  Is this true?  I am so nervous about the dex since we haven’t used it before and I don’t want to wait until the middle of the night to see if it really works on my daughter or not.  She did great with the solu-cortef and wish we could get it but our pharmacy is out and said they can’t get anymore.  What dose is your daughter on?  I was told to give 1 ml (4mgs.) and she is 5 years old, does this sound right?  Thanks for all the info.
