Timing of Labs

I have a question about the timing of blood draws in relationship to med doses...  When my son was about 4 months old, our endo’s nurse told me that the time of day that labs are drawn does not make a difference in results for an infant.  However, she didn’t say when it does begin to make a difference.  He is now 15 months (toddlerhood!), and I’m wondering if I should be timing his blood draws to a certain time of day, life before a.m. meds.  I will bring this up at our next endo appointment in 2 weeks, but I wanted to know from other parents when you were advised to do labs at a certain time of day, what time of day you typically draw, and how that relates to giving meds.

Many thanks,

Hope
