I don’t know why Dex wouldn’t work for a salt waster -- that is interesting. Technically my daughter is not a salt waster -- though I see lots of salt wasting symptoms when she is sick.

Her dossage just went up -- she now gets .5 ml. She is 5.5, weighs about 42 pounds.
