Dear Toni,

I don’t know where you are, but the sodium and potassium unstabilized affects the heart. Your baby could go into shock if not stabilized in time.  Please take him to the emergency room with a pamphlet or booklet about CAH/saltwasting.  You can print something off the computer:

Once your baby is at the hospital contact your pediatric endocrinologist and let "them" know your baby is receiving electrolytes to be stabilized.  Once he’s out of the hospital look for a new pediatric endocrinologist.  You can call Nemours Children’s Clinic for referrals to your area:

Good luck.  Many prayers to you.
