re: You are all in our prayers, we know how hard this loss can be

May you find inner peace with yourself and your Family while you are dealing with the grief of your beloved kitty. I just had to put my blonde Himaylayan down three months ago. I still feel like she jumps on the bed sometimes. We had her for 16 years. I KNOW you are hurting and your childrens little hearts are broken. I wish you comfort and solace while you are teaching the kids to understand and accept this. DEATH is DEATH............ People and pets always take a little piece of us with them. My husband and I  use to joke about her (the cat) getting so old she was preparing for the Jellicle ball! (Cats). So after the vet visit we had a small ceremony and invited the GROWN kids and grandkids to the Jellicle ball in her honor. We wore masquarade masks and plastic necklaces and cooked out and told silly cat stories. We toasted her  with our glasses high and bid her a happy farewell. The kids saved there necklaces and masks. Worked for us that day! The jellicle ball I suppose could work for dogs too! LOL Glad the funeral went well. I will pray for your family and also for Charlie! We know he is in pet heaven! Sincerely Cherry
