Currently my 9yr old SWCAH son takes 10mg 5mg 10mg.  As you can see both his A.M. & P.M. are the same.  This has not always been the case.  Until this current dosage his bedtime was always the largest dose.  It is my understanding that is because the adrenal gland shuts itself off around 2 / 3 am and the larger dose allows the person to get past this until morning.  But like you I have heard differing opinions about this.  I’ll be very interested to hear others thoughts on this.
