Problems with Adenoids? Frequent fevers?
Aug. 11th, 2004   11:47am

My daughter (SWCAH) has been having problems with her adenoids. Her ped told us that her very high temp of 104.7 was more then likely caused by them. She had a coated tongue and sulfur smelling breath. She was prescribed a nose drop that took it away in about 3-5 days.

I am still concerned though because she seems to get fevers out of nowhere the last few months. She will get them, and they will either raise to highs or just stay moderate and then be alright for a few months. Only to have this happen again a few months later. She’s been feverish since about 8pm last night.

I am worried that she may have to go in to get her adenoids out, and because of her CAH I am not too keen on this. Has anyone else had experience with this?

Could her fever’s  be because of another underlying cause that we are missing due to her SWCAH?
