hopfully your childs endo is right about the adnoids causing the fevers.  i have always called the ped if my son is running a fever and she usually wants to see him just to be safe.  my son with sw cah has had ear tubes and he did fine for the surgery and my daughter non cah has had her adnoids removed and she was pretty cranky but it wasnt terrible.  the children’s hospital here was real good with my son when he had his tubes.  our ped made sure they knew what needed to be done and so did the endo and with their directions we had no problems with the surgery or him.
