Talk about unprofessional! So would he have said that if you had Cancer, diabetes, or anything else? If anything he should have ASKED you first if it was ok to tell this person! It is NEVER ok to give out personal information without consent...HIPPA would have a FIT(they are incharge of confidentiality & put all the latest laws into effect)
