I am not sure if they can be resistant, however when my daughter was 5 months old we had to switch to pedipred b/c the cortef was not supressing her at all, her levels were way high as well. We even tried going to the circadium (?) dosing but it just wasn’t working well. Now at 8 months all her labs are normal & she is growing really well. She is the first of our Endo’s patients with CAH to need pedipred instead of cortef.
How are you dosing him? Is that the level he has been at or has he gone up recently?
