My daughter’s endo gave us a prescription for injectable dex at her last appt too.  We haven’t used it yet so I don’t know much about it.  Is the dex for you or your child?  My daughter is a salt-waster and I read somewhere on the board here that dex is not prefered if you are a salt-waster so I am leary about using it on her.  We have used solu-cortef for 5 years with great results but I called all the pharmacies in town and nobody can get solu-cortef right now.  I hope this helps.
