I am a salt waster, I AM 33 and i have had no problem with DEXA in tablet form or injection. I have been on it for 17 yrs as well as Florinef. I am in Alice Springs, Australia and i have no trouble with getting any of my medication. The closest major city for me is 1500kms away as i am in CENTRAL AUSTRALIA and ADELAIDE is the closest major city, BUT  i still can get my meds within a day if out of stock. I don’t know what the doctor was thinking when saying that salt wasters can’t have Dexa it has a longer release time and i only need to take twice a day as well as the florinef so you might need to talk to the endo again.
