In an emergency at school who to give the shot?

Hi All,

I have a 5 year old SWCAH daughter starting kindergarten in a few weeks and I have a question for those of you who have kids in school already.  What is on your  "emergency plan" for who to give your child the shot of solu-cortef?  At my daughter’s school the nurse is only there 2 afternoons a week so she offered to teach the school secretaries and some teachers’s aids how to give the shot.  I talked to my daughter’s ped endo about it and he said not to do that (it is too big of a risk that someone might not do it right) and to just call 911 if she needs the shot.  I am not sure how I feel about this.  Any info or stories would help.  Thanks
