hi there! assuming there is no school nurse........our ems (in sc) will NOT give the shot b/c solucortef is not on their formulary. therefore, they will not give the injection even if you had it labeled for your child. legally, they are not covered. however, under the good samaritan act, a teacher could give it. in my opinion (i am an ICU nurse) i would let a teacher give the shot to my swcah son. first of all, teachers have to give kids with peanut allergies epi-pen shots at times. secondly, the only way to "mess it up" would be to give it unecessarily (would not hurt anything) or to give it subcutaneously instead of intramuscularly (would be tough to do and would still not hurt anything). best of luck!
