My daughter 7 year old female with salt wasting CAH, gets headaches when she doesn’t eat. (sugar level) ALSO, I wondered if anyone else experiences this. EVERY time my daughter cries she gets a headache after ward. Just happened the day before yesterday. She fell off her swing backwards and she was bawling. Just scared her more than anything. Immediately afterward she complained of a bad headache. We ALWAYS wind up giving her some tylenol after she cries. I wonder if that is the right approach. Do you think maybe a bit of her Cortef instead? I hate to over use Cortef.

Regarding the calcium supplements. Where do you get them from? Just over the counter? This has been my main concern for my daughter. I really want to make sure there is no bone loss. Osteoporosis runs in my family. That is without taking any steriods! How did you come up with the mg intake for your child? Does your ped. decide? Thanks!
