Hello I would just like to reiterate the previous posting, I  am wishing to get pregnant with my second child and after months of debating have decided not to take the Dex.  I already have a daughter swcah who has virilisation but i am not happy with the amount of research that has been carried out.  The effects on the mother also concern me, i feel that if the mother can be so badly affected then something must pass on to the foetus. I think that this is especially true for emotional effects, how can these me measured? However, this was a very difficult decision to make and i think that if i already had a boy with cah i may have been more persuaded to take the Dex.  it’s not an easy one.  All the best, sorry i can’t be of more help regarding the side effects, from my research i didn’t come across any ways of dealing with them.
