That’s VERY interesting Toni .... Obviously Solu-Cortef CAN be pre-mixed with a reasonable shelf life. And unless I’m mistaken (which is not in the realm of unusal!), an Epi-pen DOES go into the muscle. We used to have to carry an Epi-pen for my (non CAH) son for an allergy, and I’m quite certain that it was an IM shot (??); even if the needle wasn’t long enough to go into the muscle, why couldn’t they make one that was?? Sure would make things easier when you’re not thinking straight in a crisis situation ... Hmmm .... how DOES one go about talking "THEM" into checking this out?!?
