hi sheila. my swcah son (8 months old) has a portwine stain on his face that can be associated with a syndrome called sturge-weber. so far, he has had no problems and we dont really anticipate any. it seems like it truly is just a birthmark. sometimes it seems hard to believe that my child has 2 different birth defects, but he does and they have nothing to do with each other. i have 2 healthy girls as well. from all the research i have done, there are no links with neurological disorders and cah. i am justing posting this so you know that it is highly possible that IF your child has cah, there is a good chance that the neuro. delays are not related to it. best of luck!!
