Even though our son was tested via CVS in February and found that he was neither a carrier of CAH nor does he have CAH, it still makes me nervous to think about him being born. When our daughter was born last March it was a very happy time for my husband and I, but at the same time after we learned she needed to be wisked off the NICU a couple hours after her birth it was very scary.

I know that you can’t go wrong with genetic testing, but at the same time I wish they would test him to "double check" that there is no CAH for him. CAH is part of Virginia’s newborn screening, so that means they will still test him for it correct?

I guess I am just being paranoid!
