I just have to vent...My mother is battling Cancer & has for the past 2 yrs....she was cancer free for 4 yrs & it came back. Our family has been VERY into raising money for research. We participate in the Race for the Cure, we send money to different charities..it’s a part of our lives. So, my mother called me this morning to question why I was not wearing the yellow wrist bands that are so popular right now. I told her that I had been unable to find them, & that it was not a high priority to drag two kids under 3 from store to store to try & find one. I donate time & money in so many other instances, that missing this particular one was fine by me. SHE WAS LIVID!!
So, why does this tick me off? This is coming from the same women who doesn’t want me to be involved with the CARES fundraiser in MArch.....this is the woman who does not want to be active in the CAH community, does not want to be involved & does not want me to be either...Hello? I am proud to support Cancer research, but I am also proud to support CAH research... she refuses to support CAH or CARES..yet is all over me for not combing the earth for the yellow wrist band. Hello, I can’t find one, I tried....did she? will she? UGGGGGHHHHH, Ok, just had to vent. Feeling better now
