BINGO...the whole ambiguous genitalia issue is her problem. That & she "fears" that she will be gay. Yep..she "fears" it. My daughter had her surgery..looks just like any other female now, but my mom can’t seem to get passed the fact that when she was born the outside didn’t match a gender. She says that she doesn’t want me involved b/c she doesn’t want people to judge our daughter. She doesn’t want people to know about the genitalia issue. Well, that led to one heck of a heated "discussion" I don’t want people to look at my daughter & just see the genitalia issue either, but until people know about CAH, become educated & Raise money for research it wont happen. I can’t change the fact that she has CAH, I can’t make it all better, but I can be involved, I can be supportive, and I can protect her from the small mindedness of her grandmother....Uggh! Ok, now I am going to cry!
