i have had people ask what is wrong with my son also but no one has been rude.  I just tell the his adrenal glands dont work properly.  it is much easier than explaining what cah is and yes your right it is like speaking another language, but it also gets public awarness since no one does know about it.  if we dont talk about it why should anyone else?  i am not ashamed of what he has so i am not ashamed to say it.  it was very rude of the school nurse to blame you.  that is another reason to explain it and tell that nurse there was nothing you could have done to prevent this.  most people assume that it is diabeties or seziures,but i just tell them the truth.
