My grandson w ho I have raised for 5 years now is 7 yrs old has SWCAH. He has wore one since birth. He makes it to be a part of his daily routine wearing it just like brushing his teeth. IF someone ask him he tells them I take medicine to make me well!!! I tell them he has a hormone imbalance or an adrenal insufficiency. When they ask what is that - I hand them a cares foundation brochure telling them all about CAH and the foundation. The one that has the part to fill out for a donation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I want to make sure everyone has awareness in my state. I have been working with the United Way to get CAH on there list, EMS personnel national level you name it!!!!! I’m also having a golf outing to raise awarenss and funds for the Cares Foundaiton.
