WOW! That is a first. Was the cathater attached to her leg? Or did is freely move about? That had to be quite twisted to snap. I cannot believe it would snap! WOW. Plastic is pretty durable. Unless there was some defect in the cathater. My daughter had her cathater secured to her leg so it didn’t move. Poor kid. Those E.R. bast----!!!! I have better names for them then that but didn’t want to print such vile words here. That makes me furious the way they treat this. Do you have the emergency letter? I usually have this emergency letter that outlines CAH, and the importance of emergency care along with her ENDO. number and other important numbers that I hand to them upon walking into the E.R. In our hospital it has worked thus far. BUT as we all have experienced, it wouldn’t matter if we had God Almighty next to us in the E.R. telling them what it is about. They would still look at us like we had three heads. Grrrr. What did they decide to do? Leave the cathater out? Or put it back in. Hopefully they could put it back in to make sure that urethra is completely healed. Let us know.
