Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. His endo is out on maternity leave and the nurse just got back with me today. The endo said there was no problem in giving him the nasal spray???????? He does 1 puff a day in each nostril.  So we used it today because he was so congested.  I’m going with my endo. She has been with him since birth.
