My daughter used to wear a medic alert pin, but it kept getting pulled off on the playground and the teachers didn’t know what it was, so I got her a bracelet. She has never had to explain it as far as I know and only close friends asked me what she had. Of course her kindergarten teachers couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t let her go on field trips without me(because diabetics go all the time, and they’re perfectly fine). Honestly, the ignorance and lack of compassion for these kids sometimes is pathetic and I just ignored these people forever. Good luck.
