hi new mom! i , too , have a 7 month old son with swcah. we still have issues with a low sodium from time to time, but his potassium stays normal. he takes 2 florinef tabs every day, 1mg of cortef three times a day, and 1/4 tsp of table salt sprinkled in his food and bottles every 24 hours. i echo what everyone else has added. part of the challenge with sodium in infants is that breast milk, formula and baby food have very little added sodium unlike adult food and drink, so i see how this will get easier as they grow. how are his labs?? how is his height and weight??
