Dear Susan,

I take 25mgs of hydrocortisone, I’m 5’1 and about 150 pounds. 10mg before 7am, 5mg between 2-4pm, and 10mg anywhere from 11pm or later. My Endo has been pleased with the 17 OHP since I’ve been on the Hydro for the last two years. The level was good on the pred also but the drug of choice for my Endo and me too! is the Hydro. I never had any trouble incorporating the afternoon dose into my life. I would compare it to how one takes a tic-tac. I’ll take it out of the box in my purse, take a swig of water and not even miss a beat in whatever conversation I’m having. This works for me but everyone is different. I’m sorry the CAH is making you feel like ick.
