I really appreciate the thoughtful comments and suggestions.  The perinatologist did not really give any options on whether to take the dex or not.  I mentioned to the genetist that I read that only 1 in 8 are either positively affected by the dex, or 1 in 8 are actually are virilized at birth. Anyway,  my wife is pregnant and will take the dex.  Please pray for her as she takes this medicine that the effects will be minimal at best. I know everything will work out ultimately it just getting from here to there that worries us both.   Are there any other support mechanism in place for families like ours?
