Hello everyone.....i hope this site is up and running......i just found it.....excellent source of info.......i am 60 yrs young......diagnosed at 21 with CAH...non classic.....+/- 40 years ago there was not much known about CAH....as a matter of fact i was presented to a medical conference shortly after diagnosis.....i was placed on 5mg of prednisone which i take to this day......i want to say to all: the more informed you are and not panic *life is wonderful*....all will work itself out........in counseling parents , one major peice of advice is Not to treat your child as if he/she is disabled.....teach them everything about the *syndrome*.......it is not a *disease*.....i have seen children suffering because mom/dad won’t let them ride a bike , swim....you get the picture......they are NORMAL children with a special problem....not *sickly*......again you get the picture.......to those who have set up this site , i cannot thank you enough for the help and information you provide......you have provided me with info not available 40 yrs ago........again i thank you.............ell
