ok. no one laugh at me over this post. i am an icu nurse and just looked up my son’s labs on the hospital computer  yesterday while at work. much to my total amazement, his 17ohp is over 2000 ng/dl!! his one before that was only 88 ng/dl and he is on a VERY low cortef dose. well, the results were posted on tuesday and today is friday. we don’t see the endo until sept. 22nd. do i call the doc and let him know that i sneak around behind his back and look up my son’s labs??? i have to believe that these results have been faxed to his office by now and that he has had access to them, but i have not received a phone call f from him to up the cortef. help!
