How prevalent is slow healing in CAHers?  My son is a carrier, which means that only one of us has the gene and I used to think it was my husband because he and a lot of people in his family are hairy and had acne.  But I’ve always been a very slow healer and something I think Julia said about ear-piercing rang true.  I got my ears pierced when I was about 12 and now I’m 50 and I still don’t think they healed!  Whenever I used to wear earrings, I’d get really bad infections so I just gave up.
