All I know is that when they first diagnosed me and I started on hormones, my resting heart rate went from about 120 to under 100.  When I got worse last year my resting heart rate was up to almost 140 beats a minute.  Then they put me on dex and it’s back down to near 100 again.  Even when I was an athlete and in great shape, my heart rate’s always been quite high.  I actually fought medication at first, but they told me that I needed it for my heart rate, if nothing else.  But I’d say that less than half of the people I talk to have the racing heart beat.  Blood pressure has always been normal.
