My 3 month old daughter’s newborn screening came back negative for her having CAH and i took her to the emergency room when she was 3 days old for being lethargic and they ran an electrolyte test on her and her salt levels were low....needless to say, she was diagnosed CAH. When I brought the newborn screening to her emdo’s attention she said "hmmm, thats odd." "maybe it’s because she’s not salt wasting."  I have half a mind to believe my daughter does not have CAH and she is being treated for nothing.
