hi maya! i have a 8 month old swcah son myself! congrats on your little one. i echo everything else that has been said. for US, right now, the issues are somewhat poor growth, chunkiness and special attention when he gets the normal childhood viruses. the growth and weight could also just be him. his dad is kind of short and he was 9lbs, 2 oz. three weeks early! i remember very well when he was a newborn looking at him and wondering if he would be a happy, "normal" baby. boy, he sure is :)  no one wants their child to have a genetic disorder; however, there are far worse out there and these children are blessings. best of luck!!!
