BajaHi Sarah!
I hope that you are able to bring this up with your parents and Endocrinologist. Like Jessica K. stated this does happen to women even if they don’t have any surgeries for CAH But since we have had the surgeries this may also happen.
Is it because of the surgeries or because some of us are small anyway? We will never know and all of this is normal and something doctors are on the look out for with the type of surgery that we went through. I agree with Jessica K. that it always good to see a OB/GYN as long as they do diagnostic testing : ) but when I told my Endocrinologist about my smaller opening she referred me to a ped Urologist Surgeon which are the ones that specialize in our surgeries. I needed to have another surgery to widen the narrow canal and it really was no big deal. I was out of the hospital in three days and mad that I didn’t get to stay for the Lobster that night. You might not need any surgery like this or the doctor might have other suggestions for you.
All the best in the World,
Baja
