Went to Publix today :)

Aimee, I had to buy this french spring water cause they were out of the gallons. I live right across from Publix, actually, & I could walk to my school.  I have to drive my son, though. He goes to Ramblewood middle.  You’re talking about the charter school that the old mall was made into. I remember going to the eckerd’s in that mall when all they had was a movie theater, a sports place, a rag shop, and eckerd’s. It’s city owned, but they follow the broward cnty testing practices, if this makes sense. I don’t know that it’s better than a public school. I don’t think they have all the extracurricular activities the public school has.  I had a friend who sent her two teen daughters to the charter school, though, and they loved it. They said the experience was much better for them than public school and smaller class sizes.  Are you staying here for the hurricane, going to a shelter, or leaving until it passes?  I hope you have gasoline by now. Take care. My prayers. with love,
Anne
